Our Heritage: From 1927 to Today

Air Liquide’s journey in Malaysia is a story of long-term commitment and strategic evolution. Our roots trace back to 1927 with the founding of Far East Oxygen. Over the decades, we have evolved through key milestones—from the formation of MOX in 1979 to our re-emergence as an independent entity, Air Liquide Malaysia (ALM), in 2007.

Our growth accelerated with the acquisition of Polygas (2016) and Southern Industrial Gas (2019), solidifying our position as a market leader. Today, we operate from our state-of-the-art headquarters at 1Powerhouse, Petaling Jaya, managing two major legal entities (ALM and SIG) to serve the nation's diverse needs.
